Ka Hui Kapa Apano O’Waimea was established in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii in 1972 to encourage and perpetuate the art of  Hawaiian Quilting. We meet the last Saturday of the month at 9am at St James Episcopal Church on Kawaihae Road in the town of Waimea (otherwise known as Kamuela). 

We meet to encourage each other with show and tell, to  plan our “learn-how” activities and to plan for our every-other-year Hawaiian Quilt Show. And of course we close the meeting with a wonderful pot luck lunch.
